At Healthy Lifestyles we take all the confusion out of appropriate eating. There are no gimmicks. No fad diets. Just basic nutrition. Appropriate portions, proper ratios of carbs, protein, and fat. A reasonable calorie total. If you dig far enough into the information out there you will find a common theme underneath all the trends, fads, and marketing: to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume. You need basic portions of fat, carbs, and protein. That’s all. Eating grapefruit all day won’t do anything but make you grumpy. Our ready-to-order Weekly menu consists of 2 breakfast-type items and 5 entree items that are all nutritionally balanced. Our Lean&Clean menu is geared to weight loss and Keto meals. We use low-glycemic foods with good fiber content and high protein so you stay fuller, longer while keeping your calorie count in check. Depending on your activity level, size and gender you will usually want 3-4 meals per day, with a healthy snack(try our protein bars) and plenty of water to begin achieving weight loss. Add some reasonable exercise (even if you start with walking) and you will be on your way to success. We are happy to answer your questions and help you get started.
